Telemarketers Patrick J. Pespas Reportedly Returned Home Safely
Update, Thursday, October 26 at 11:15 p.m.: Patrick J. Pespas has been “found and returned safely to his wife Sue,” according to Adam Bhala Lough, who directed Pespas in the Max documentary Telemarketers. The Thursday announcement comes nearly a month after Pespas went missing in Pennsylvania, with police previously confirming that the former Civic Development Group employee had last been seen on September 29. “Thank you to everyone who has shared messages of support, donated and prayed for Pat’s safe return,” Bhala Lough wrote in a social media post sharing the news. “One day I hope to tell the whole story but for now Pat asks that everyone respects his and Sue’s privacy.”

Telemarketers subject Patrick J. Pespas has been reported missing since Friday by the Easton Police Department in Pennsylvania, per Entertainment Weekly. A media release was published on Monday morning, suspecting Pespas may be operating a white 2002 Ford Mustang and could still be in the New Jersey area. Telemarketers director Adam Bhala Lough relayed the message from Pespas’s family by tweeting a missing-persons flyer with contact information. He wrote, “Pat is missing, and Sue, his family and friends are very worried about him. Please put out the word that Pat is missing and help us find him.” Lough also claimed that they had confirmed with a bartender and a patron that they saw Pespas at a bar in Pittsburgh.
