Matt Barnes gets cold-as-ice Instagram revenge on Derek Fisher

While Derek Fisher is now on the unemployment line, his nemesis Matt Barnes is sitting pretty in Memphis.

At least, that’s the message the Grizzlies forward seemed to convey by posting a caption-less Instagram photo of himself Monday morning wearing a sports jacket and a satisfied look, just an hour after Fisher was canned as coach of the Knicks.

The two former Lakers teammates got into a fight in October over Barnes’ estranged wife, Gloria Govan, whom Fisher was dating. Barnes was suspended for two games for his role in the altercation.

Earlier this year, Barnes was fined $35,000 for his comments before a game against the Knicks. He said: “Violence is never the answer, but sometimes it is.”

In a wordy Instagram post on New Year’s Day, Barnes had written about “being stuck in the ‘triangle offense’ w my ex & snitch, I mean former teammate & friend.. Who went behind my back, messed w my ex, got caught, got dealt w for being a snake, then ran & told the Police & NBA.. Instead of taken that ass whoopin like a man & kept it moving….!”
