What a great way to go into the new year for rapper Ludacris and his longtime love Eudoxie.

Luda definitely knows how to sweep a girl of her feet. The rapper/actor celebrated 2015 by marrying Eduxie Mbouguiengue right after an engagement that lasted seven minutes. Yes, just seven minutes!

Ludacris captioned a pic on Instagram, probably to explain this.

"Why wait? Did the thing before 2015"

American rapper, entrepreneur and actor, Ludacris, 37, celebrated 2015 by marrying his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiengue. Ludacris, has a daughter, Karma Bridges (born August 2001) from a previous relationship and he also has a second daughter named, Cai Bella Bridges (born December 2013) with Tamika Fuller.

Ludacris has been dating Eudoxie Mbouguiengue since 2009. On December 24, 2014, he became engaged to her with the engagement lasting around seven minutes and the couple married later that day.

Well, Luda could probably be the most romantic guy around. After he swooped his long time love on a private jet, the rapper/actor popped the question in a way that could have swept any girl off her feet. Ludacris proposed his girl by having the words, "Eudoxie, will you marry me?" written in a field in his native Georgia as they flew over it in a private jet.

He later posted the words painted in the field on Instagram and captioned it, "She didn't say yes. She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal"

The rapper's now wife, shared several photos on Instagram of the proposal. She even reposted the image and captioned it, "BEST DAY OF MY LIFE WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! #milehighproposal."

According to TMZ, Ludacris took Eudoxie out to dinner at a restaurant in Georgia right after their engagement, when she returned home, there was a wedding dress out-draped over a piece of furniture. The dress was picked up by his mom.

Although the whole thing was a huge surprise for Eudoxie, she was ready for it. The couple got married with a few friends and family members by their side.

Luda took to Instagram Tuesday to share the first photo from the ceremony and captioned the pic: "Why wait? Did the thing before 2015.#mrandmrsrbridges."

A source tells E! News, "It was a beautiful wedding.  The wedding was small and only close friends and family were in attendance. Ludacris was so thrilled to be getting married and filled with such love for his lady. He was a bit nervous when it was happening but in a very good kinda way."
