Lenny Kravitz and Channing Tatum Are Best Friends
Channing Tatum can count Lenny Kravitz as a bestie and a future father-in-law. During an episode of Sherri set to air tomorrow, Kravitz, who is set to drop his new album Blue Electric Light on May 24, explained that he and Tatum have a great relationship. It's no secret either, as Tatum was seen supporting the superstar singer at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last week.
"He's a great guy. We got on really well. We have our own relationship, as well," Lenny said in a clip posted by People. "We hang out, and we talk. He's a very soulful human being. He was raised well. He has manners and class."
He went on to say that the relationship comes "naturally."
"Like I said, he's very sweet, and it works," he added. "Life is about timing and what you've gone through, what you've learned, and they're in the right place."
Previously, Lenny spoke about how happy he is that his daughter Zoë is happy. At the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival, he told Entertainment Tonight, "Hey man, that's life. When your family is happy when your child is happy, that's it. I've done well," adding that he feels "blessed" to have Tatum in his life.
Zoë has also noted how grateful she is for her fiancé, saying how important it was to have him on set for her directorial debut, Pussy Island.
"Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever — he really was my protector, and it was really wonderful and sweet," she shared in a 2022 interview with GQ. "I think if you can do something like that together, it's a good test. And we came out even stronger."
