Evelyn Morris Obituary, Death – Family and friends are invited to join us in commemorating the life of Evelyn P. Morris, who peacefully departed this world on December 27th at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by her beloved sisters. Evelyn was 80 years old.

Born in Boston on April 1, 1943, Evelyn was the daughter of George and Evelyn (Phair) Morris. She shared her childhood with two loving sisters, Marjorie and Kathleen. Tragedy struck when their mother passed away in 1958, but the Morris girls, determined and resilient, rallied together to maintain their home. Each sister took on specific household responsibilities, fostering a strong bond that would endure a lifetime.

Evelyn’s journey led her to graduate from Revere High School, setting the stage for her pursuit of higher education. Inspired by a shared passion for teaching, all three Morris sisters attended college and achieved their dreams of becoming educators.

To honor Evelyn’s memory and celebrate her life, we invite you to attend the Visiting Hours on Thursday, January 4th, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, located at 262 Beach St., Revere. A heartfelt Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home. The interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, will be a private ceremony shared with close family.

Evelyn’s legacy is one of strength, resilience, and the enduring bonds of family. As we gather to remember her, let us reflect on the lessons she imparted, the love she shared, and the impact she made on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
