Emilio Nava is an American professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 200, achieved on 8 August 2022.

He has reached two finals of the Boys’ Singles Grand Slam tournaments, losing to Lorenzo Musetti in the 2019 Australian Open and to Jonáš Forejtek in the 2019 US Open.

He was born on 2 December 2001 to parents Eduardo Nava, an olympic sprinter and Xóchitl Escobedo, a professional tennis player, both of whom originally hail from Mexico.

Nava’s father Eduardo competed in the men’s 100 metres at the 1988 Summer Olympics while his mother Xóchitl, is a retired female tennis player from Mexico, who represented her native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.

She reached a career-high singles ranking on November 20, 1989, when she became ranked the number 284 in the world.

Nava is also the cousin of fellow pro tennis player Ernesto Escobedo.

He has a brother, Eduardo Nava who is a professional tennis player who played college tennis at TCU and Wake Forest University.
