Dreamcatcher's 'VISION' & 'Apocalypse : Follow Us' Enter iTunes Charts Around the World

On Oct. 11, the South Korean girl group came back to the music scene with their new mini-album "Apocalypse : Follow Us" and the music video for "VISION."

"VISION" is a dark techno genre song featuring electronic sounds and expressing Dreamcatcher's vision of the future. The lyrics were written by LEEZ, Ollounder, and Maddox, and the track was composed by LEEZ, Glen Check member June One, and Ollounder.

Following its release, Dreamcatcher's new album "Apocalypse : Follow Us" and its title song immediately claimed spots on iTunes charts in different regions around the world.

In particular, "Apocalypse : Follow Us" hit first place on iTunes Album chart in at least 21 countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Chile, Singapore, Israel, Vietnam, among others.

The mini-album also debuted at No. 4 in the United States and went on to peak at No. 1, becoming the group's second project this year to reach the top of U.S. iTunes Album chart (following "Apocalypse : Save Us" in April). With this, Dreamcatcher is now the first K-pop group- and only K-pop group, so far- to have two No. 1 albums on the U.S. iTunes Album chart this 2022.

As for Dreamcatcher's "VISION," the title track made it to the top 100 of iTunes Song charts in at least 21 regions as well, such as the United States, Malaysia, Colombia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Bahrain, Indonesia, France, Taiwan, Portugal, Australia, and more.

Furthermore, Dreamcatcher's new album "Apocalypse : Follow Us" notably debuted in first place on both the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and the European iTunes Album chart at the same time. Dreamcatcher now joins BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, and LOONA as the only K-pop girl group to have at least four albums topping the worldwide chart.

"VISION" also made it to both the Worldwide iTunes Song chart and on the European iTunes Song chart, occupying No. 22 and No. 132, respectively.

Dreamcatcher's 'Apocalypse : Follow Us' First-Day Sales + Songs Debut on Korean Music Charts

At the same time that Dreamcatcher's new mini-album and its title track entered iTunes charts, "VISION" also landed on a few major Korean music charts.

At 7 p.m. KST on Oct. 11, "VISION" debuted at No. 1 on Bugs, while the B-side songs from the same album rounded out the top 5. "Fairytale" entered at No. 2, "Some Love" at No. 3, "Rainy Day" at No. 4, "Intro: Chaotical X" at No. 5. Moreover, "Outro: Mother Nature" placed 13th.

Dreamcatcher's "VISION" also secured No. 242 on Genie and debuted on MelOn with 21,000 streams and 8.5K unique listeners in the first six hours.

Regarding Dreamcatcher's first-day sales on the Hanteo Chart with "Apocalypse : Follow Us," the total reached 39,736 copies. This is the fourth time that the girl group surpassed 30,000 units on the first day of the album's release. They previously achieved it with "Apocalypse: Save Us," "Summer Holiday" and "Dystopia: Road to Utopia."
