Courteney Cox regrets having so much cosmetic surgery
Courteney Cox regrets jacking up her face with Madame Puppet, joker-like fillers and botox, ensuring that her all-American girl looks remain a faded relic from a 1984 Bruce Springsteen video.
"I grew up thinking that appearance was the most important thing. That's kind of sad because it got me in trouble. I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse."
She didn't initially realize how much her appearance was changing because she got all of the injections and fillers gradually. A friend ultimately told her she needed to stop visiting cosmetic doctors.
"The next thing you know, you're layered and layered and layered," she said. "You have no idea because it's gradual until you go, "Oh shit, this doesn't look right."
Cox says that her physical transformation looks more extreme in photos than it does in person. Still, she's since had her fillers removed, even though she's not ruling out getting further work done in the future.

I regret making her Alex P. Keaton's rebound girlfriend.

That's brave of her to be so candid about it. Much love and respect, Ms. Cox. xoxoxoxo

Did they squeeze the fillers out like popping a zit?

Where I come from, you're old, you're ugly, you live with it.

R3. They inject something called "Hyaluronidase" which dissolves the filler.

She said in an interview probably a decade ago that she thought she had too much botox. 10 long botox loaded years later, and she said she's probably not done. Her looks are shot for good.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 22, 2017 4:29 AM |
Her face and features are way too thin to recover from all the injections and facial surgeries.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 22, 2017 4:32 AM |
Agree that this is brave of her to say.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 22, 2017 4:35 AM |
On the other hand, I could use a little something.

You could use a grease fire and so could all your co-stars, R11.

R8, this is R4. I love you. Marry me!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 22, 2017 4:42 AM |
I wonder if she and Jennifer Aniston still hang out.
Jennifer A. left them all in the dust being A-list, most famous woman in the world, hot husband, more money than god, beautiful and can be in any movie she chooses. She is one of the few people who will never have to worry about anything ever again except if she ever got cancer.

It's cool of her to say this stuff.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 22, 2017 5:09 AM |
R18 I definitely think so. She can prevent another beautiful actress from ruining her looks.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 22, 2017 5:12 AM |
What really bugs her is that no one gives a shit.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 22, 2017 5:59 AM |
It would be braver if she didn't fuck up her face to begin with.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 22, 2017 6:01 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 22, 2017 6:05 AM |
She only admitted to botox and filler.

She does look a lot better and more natural in the photo at OP. (A Google image search indicates it's new.)
At least she's more recognizable as the possessor of her previous face.
She deserves credit for reversing course and going public about it, instead of becoming a grotesque pillowface like so many.

R14, Aniston's hot husband dumped her twelve years ago.

Hmm, this reminds me of billionaires who say they are tired of being so crazy rich and are giving it all to charity or their billion dollar foundations, but low and behold, a few years later, they are still fucking billionaires.

furthermore, she lies about the photos of her work looking worse than "it was". Bullshit. BULLSHIT. Have you ever been around Hollywood types of old rich cunts? They are SCARY monsters face to face.

She panicked that last season of friends when she was hiding her pregnancy and her face filled out. She would have been fine if she'd just let things be.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 23, 2017 6:25 PM |
This was the pic that put an end to it.
Many people who swear off fillers, finally update their haircut, or start a big diet have "the picture"
She looks like she had the Madonna lite package here. Doctors all do this and think it looks "natural" and "just a bit filled in, where you lost fat" - except it doesn't.

Botox in limited areas - and stay the fuck away from filler.

My oldest sister had a chemical peel and it took years off her. She's 48 and honestly could pass for 32-35. We're all lucky that everyone in the family doesn't really start to wrinkle or sag until mid to late fifties judging by the previous generation, we've all got good skin and look younger than we are. We're all quite fit and slim but not skinny, I think that helps if you're going to start a tweak here and there. A reasonable musculature always looks better than skeletal thin.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 23, 2017 7:56 PM |
People are kidding themselves if they think it all dissolves away and they look natural and the way they did before.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 23, 2017 8:38 PM |
Hard to believe she never had one true friend who pulled her aside and say hey wait a minute too bad greedy doctors never stopped to ask her to seriously reflect on the long term consequences of this.
Docs just wanna be rich and friends just wanna stay friends with rich movie star friends. Sad!

I think she still looked good in Dirt but doing Couger Town she changed, which is ironic given that she was playing a 40 year old woman who was supposed to be okay with aging.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | June 24, 2017 3:12 PM |
with or without fillers, she's probably not getting the roles she did in the past. This signals her willingness to take age appropriate parts.

Meant to write Cougar Town.

"I think she still looked good in Dirt but doing Couger Town she changed, which is ironic given that she was playing a 40 year old woman who was supposed to be okay with aging. "
I thought she still looked fairly good in Cougar Town. I never thought she was aging that badly. Of course, I'm judging this by a TV show, where she has professional makeup and lighting.
BTW, Dirt was a fun little show. I surprised something like it doesn't get produced in this TMZ, social media age.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | June 24, 2017 3:43 PM |
Watch between - I think - between seasons 4 and 5 of Cougar Town (might be 3 and 4), but the entire lower half of her face changes shape and it doesn't look great. It doesn't look awful, but looked better before.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | June 24, 2017 4:12 PM |
She looks beautiful here. You have to remember that this photo is in direct sunlight where everyone looks horrible.
I think Kaitlyn Jenner modeled its face after Courtney Cox's face.

Fillers can be dissolved and the Park Ave Derm worker is, was and always will be a fraud. He just has a fixation, a sickness really about plastic surgery. Nose jobs are his preferred topic though.

R47. Fillers are often used to fill in bags underneath the eyes. Too much filler can make the area around the eyes look puffy and the eyes themselves look sunken or smaller.

I bet she regrets those over-plucked eyebrows more than the hair-style. The bangs are clip on. Bad look altogether.

[quote] Fillers are often used to fill in bags underneath the eyes. Too much filler can make the area around the eyes look puffy and the eyes themselves look sunken or smaller.
This is exactly wrong. It's the removal of undereye bags that gives one a hollow look and fillers can make it look better, but fillers are temporary.
The biggest complaint after blepharoplasty & removal of eye bags is a hollow look under the eyes.
